When I was at the second form, I came across this tale for the first time.I must confess that everytime I read this tale the tears came into my eyes and run down my cheeks.Now I would like to share this impressive tale with you.This tale is a legend about a swan. ?There was a mother who had 3 sons.This good-natured mother always treated her children very kindly.Once she fell ill,she felt thirst and she was so sick that, she couldn?t even get up from her bed.In this case she called her oldest son and asked him to give her a glass of water to drink.But the boy said: ?Oh ,mom I am going out, I?ve a lot to do.Call my brothers!?and so he went out. The poor mother called her middle son,but he did not give water to his ill mother too.Hopeless mother called her youngest son, who was playing in the yar Beatrix Potter Figurines by Beswick d with kids.When the boy came in ,the weak mother said: ?Oh,my dear,I am parched with thirst, could you give me a drop of water to drink,please.? The boy in a hurry voice: ?Oh, Mum how you can stop my playing. Why you don?t ask my brothers.? ?Oh,my dear,they had to go.? The weak mother whispered. ?Now I must go.Take yourself please.? The boy said and run. The mother was impressed by her own children?s behavior very deeply and wished to be a swan and fly and drink water till she quench.Just then God granded the mother?s wish and the mother was turned into a swan.She left her home.When her children saw her,they cried ,pleaded her to return,but this time she did not.She flew,flew and perched on a bank of a lake.So she quenched.Since then she stayed in other birds? nests and never hatched.
